Week 12 of Journal 52 was “Inspiration Board.” I searched for magazine images and came across a Canadian Geographic with these pictures in it. The more I looked at them the more I found that they expressed some great inspiration so they became the basis of this page. I started with a layer of gesso and then a layer of Golden acrylic paint spread on using a palette knife.
I arranged the images around the page to balance them out and glued them down with Golden Soft Gel medium. I outlined them with a black oil pastel and smudged the edges with my fingertip. I added the blue circles with my fingertip as well with some more acrylic paint.
I doodled around the circles with a white gel pen and added my descriptions around the photos to explain what each one represents in my inspiration board. Finally I stamped the title on white cardstock and glued it to the top.
